Alpental 2/11 12 to 2:30. Nice Sunshine up there while all lowlands had days of thick low clouds, a temp inversion again. Too icy on lower runs, top chair was great soft snow in afternoon, above freezing and sunny. North facing Nash runs closed due to ice but did enjoy 8+ runs on Edelwiess main run. Very bumpy in main run of it, so traversed out pass first tree group, dropped down, then traversed on south facing side several places to get smoother areas for great drops of turning. Those areas were in sun till 2pm, In bottom third after flat section, stayed right. Cut into steep entrance from left side, went around last trees to finish run in right most area. A great route for this day. Pray for snow!
