Whistler Good then Frozen 2-8,9,10

Fantastic day Tuesday and early Wednesday with perfect Groomers, no crowds, and good enough visibility. The whole mountain was open with good skiing top to bottom. Even the rain at the bottom on Tuesday just made the snow smooth and fast down Olympic Run. Harmony Ridge and Upper Peak to Creek were highlights. Wednesday morning had a trace of new snow that made the off piste fun up high in the Alpine. Thursday morning the whole mountain was a sheet of ice after a rainy night up high. Luckily I had already left…My friend of 25 years said it was the worst icy day he’d ever had and he was a New England boilerplate vet…Weekend sounds tough…..But then again, skiing 3-5k runs on perfect groomers in the sun would be hard to beat.
