Whistler/Blackcomb 12/9/2021

  kit    Best day so far as the visibility was good, the cold sucked all moisture from the snow, and I learned I have to tuck or straightline any chance I get to keep up with Peter “freight train” Beers! Harmony held high speed edges, and we enjoyed both groomed trails and off piste. We skied some bumps and even some steeps with mixed results. Finally went to Blackcomb where we skied Hugh’s Heaven all by ourselves, and then did a more difficult lab on the lift line bumps. It was in great shape and only firm thru one section. We finished up with Blueline, Glacier Drive, and a lap under Jersey Cream on the Pseudo Steep. This trend of getting better every day is fun! 

You are in GREAT SHAPE to start the season. Slow down.

I am planning my first turns at The Pass when the chairs begin, or the creeks are covered for putting on my "skins" for some exercise.
