Short Report - Twasnt yesterday, very nasty vis first run down LS, marginal grooming, kinda cold feeling, but there was moments, got warmer for a while, snow got softer, crowd was ultra light - no lifts lines, but the big sun spring fest never happened while I was skiing. Still fun, still nice to get the last lift served day at Crystal. Looks to be a great end of season for the skinning crowd.
Wordy report - Arrived a little earlier than yesterday, got first chair pre covid slot and with Jeff got pre first chair one last time. Light early crowd - less than yesterday, snow very spring soft around the base, but not up top which was very firm first run down LS - next lap down LS was already better both in vis and softening snow. Only did two runs all morning - one down the groomer main line in the Valley and all the rest down LS (mentally lazy due to the variable vis). Snow pack is massive, brown showing but most slopes way better than a typical end of season. Twas a great season, only wish the last weekend had been more sunny springish. Time to move on to hiking and mountain biking. Have a really great summer and hope for a more typical ski season next winter.
Other - Drive up and down very pleasant today, a few Elk around Greenwater. Pay lot not full, rest of A packed, B pushing past 2/3, C pushing fullish so there were a few folks up again today, fair traffic flow heading up when I bailed way to early (as usual this season).
