Ski Report -
Short report - Great day you shoulda gone, best day this week and sorry/or...glad you didnd since I am very self centered and selfish! But would like more folks to ski the front side and get it into shape for some slushy spring skiing.
Long wordy report - Ouch! Arrived extra early since I was running solo. Didnt get first chair due to wacky line control, but no matter - got great screaming icy MIFB early! Ouch again! But it got primo earlier than the last couple of days. Vis - views from Baker to Hood with a big blue bird sky! Wind was howling early, but was noticeable when it decreased. Skied early mostly GV Bowl skiers right side - could not recommend it for the powder skiers, but it warmed up my slow brain. Pro Course - great, what was groomed in the Valley was pleasant and fast. LS was probably the best early smooth grooming once you got past the roller ball crap on the backside main route to LS - OUCH stupid again early! Nice and warm today - best day this week for me - lots of early screamer groomers and the the pace picked up when I bumped into the Ferks! Ouch! Spent a lot of the rest of my short day trying to keep up - and I thank them for it . Got a great PB run to BP with Mr Ferk! Yee Haa! and if I wasnt younger but older than the Ferknator I would have repeated it many times. Did do Kellys Gap to Lower E with the Ferks! Thankyou both it was great and made me make it my last run of the day! Sorry for all the words! It was a fun day, best of the week so far and my body hurts!.
Other - Lunch on the chairs, no break time, fast fun skiing, the EXP's have been having a great week. No lift lines except for when chairs would randomly be stopped. Light crowd overall. Pay lot maybe half full, B parked past the shuttle stop, C pushing fullish. Drive up and down was pleasant with a few Elk hanging around Greenwater.
