Ski Report - Great day, nice sun, cold early and I would say never hot for me, light crowds, no lift lines, great left overs from the big snow in the right places, groomerrs I did (and #1 did) were very nice today.  Got a mid morning run down PB which skied typically nice and got another couple PB's with Mr Ferk which were also nice late morning.   Did a early morning Outer Ferks run - no bumps, filled in, nice packed pow skiers hard right along the trees - also did it with Mr Ferk after our first PB run together. He pretty much toasted me while I was skiing with him!  Quality of the north facing is very nice, LS and MIFB were nice early, but late morning  got a little bouncy with cut up snow that was not really prime spring mush - probably got better after we left late in the afternoon - 12:30pm.  Wimps we be, saving both of our bodies for more skiing tomorrow before the #2 covid shot.

Other - Split a gluton burger and frys with #1, I felt like a big porker slug after that,  and it was 2 PB's after the glut fest trying to keep up with the Ferk.   Pay lot was pushing 2/3 when we left, B also looked like 2/3 and C was packed and cars in D and E.   Drive up and down very pleasant on bare pavement with only a few elk butts noticed in the Ranch area and a little further up.   Great day for both of us!

Spent the morning on Northway and Employee Housing.  Late morning was C6 including a hike into Southback.  Then, afternoon was spent in various nice places in GV with lots of top-to-bottoms thrown in.  We had yer nice powder, yer thin powder with frozen glop underneath, yer packed powder, and yer gloppy powder today.  Snow was getting a little sun damaged in lot's of places in the afternoon and tomorrow's mid-40s temps will turn everything to mush.  We need it to quit snowing and get some freeze/thaw cycles going so we can get some nice corn snow.  Looks like that might be happening the rest of the week.

An odd day as there was only a small correlation to what you thought might be good and was was actually good. Generally, north facers were the place to be - some fluff over packed pow, some thick over crunch. We learned quickly to move just a little left or right. A big day from Northway Brand X (Pick the correct side of P Trees and Bruce, and as good as M Chute, or is it N Chute, gets) to Avalanche Basin (nice untracked especially Ken’s Run). And right down the middle was Employee Housing - Took laying down some power to ski, well worth it. Powder Bowl - Bear Pits was great. Only groomer was IceBurger early, hard/Ok, and late, heavy piles and skidding. Lots of people heading to SouthBack, nice they all ignored Avie B, thanks. Nobody headed North which was the place to be in the morning. Skipped over the Frontside’s wind packed and afternoon mashed potatoes. Extremely shaded aspects stayed really nice - Powder Bowl, Elk Snort,  and C-3 Chairline lasted the day. Extremely sunny areas that were well skied softened into slushy bumps - Mr Toad, Lower E, Sluiceway. No lunch break for the hard skiers and no leaving early.Left it all on the table today (appointments tomorrow). Tomorrow will be nasty in the refreeze, heavy in the heat, and great in the Goldilocks Zone
