The snow is definitely dryer over here compared to my west-south region resort. Mostly clear today with afternoon temps in the upper 30s. Really incredible grooming that skied great. Off-piste was styro-firm snow with a layer of soft. A kick to ski, but you have to hunt for it a bit at this intermediate local resort. The new chair 2 with bubble is nice and higher tech than a lot of quads (e.g. REX). But then, there are the old chairs built by Riblet Tramway Company. Never seen so many old retired Boeing guys that relocated to Wenatchee many years ago in retirement. And, everybody on carvers. The widest skis I saw on the mountain were 94 underfoot. Mine. Zero lift lines anywhere.
