Report - First I would like to thank everyone who did not show up today! CHex started loading around 8:30 again today with Blue bird sunny conditions, ultra light early crowd, 2 to 4 inches of nice cold smoke, lots of diamonds shinning in the snow and due to the lack of early participation I managed to get three nice untracked lines in GV Bowl before it looked like after the typical first run on a fresh snow day. Groomers were nice and smooth and fast (for me LS and MIFB, for #1 all the early FQex runs). Chair 6 started loading early and I got lucky to be the first person down the center of PB and it was sweet! Did it another three times during the morning, but by the last one the snow was starting to get sun impacted. The sun was warm and turning the south facing slopes to mashed potatoes (from what I heard). The sun and warm temps and no winds will impact the quality tomorrow.Great morning and another great day of bumps.The next two days should be great spring skiing.
Other - Did a short visit with #1 in CB lodge, its nice to be back closer to normal though its still limited seating inside. Had a way to big slice of pizza, heard from others that the Clam Chow was great. Pay lot was pushing 3/4 full when we left, B 4/5's and C pushing full. So a fair number of folks showed up today. Drive up and down was pleasant. Next week we'll be back to dark early drive - dang! FUN DAY!
