Ski Report - Another day in Hamster Bump Heaven for me. Ultra light (this season) early opening on CHex with who knows what kinda weather (Gray? Snowy? Sun?) but in the end the morning was very happy with good vis, screamer groomers (well LS and MIFB - good enough), great packed styro extra wind blown in snow in GV Bowl and PB! Lots of nice sun during the 9:30 to 10:30 hour (3 PB laps). And the EXP's were very happy today, its been a good week already for them and more to come the next two days with nice spring weather. Beat myself up in the bumps and high speed skiing (left early again Binx?- no #1 excuse today, just was getting kinda grayer and since I'm kinda ? old, it felt cold). Fun day, no lift lines on the three chairs I visited today. Almost headed out far north to EH - the hard cores have been doing laps there for the last three days like they were skiing CHex - must be really nice, maybe we will get a report someday. But I always remember a friend of one of the Amigos who many years ago always wanted to ski PB! And us wimps declined so we could ski GV - hhhhmmmm....I must be that weird guy now and I have to say I do enjoy it. Great fun morning with lots of bump vert!
Other - No clue on food today (no #1), Pay lot was fuller than normal with two buses, B and C had more cars than yesterday. Still a very light crowd for a Wednesday this covid season. Drive up and down both had random wacky drivers (ultra fast on the straight sections and big slow downs in the no passing areas) Didn't notice any Elk today.

90% of the mountain is frozen junk. North facers still held some excellent soft bumps. Started with a big sun break, it was snowing in the parking lot upon arrival, and got things off to an excellent start. Visibility was very nice and raised my energy level. Did big loops that combined all the upper mountain north facing aspects, and then repeated. Only reason to ski Iceberg, was to transition from Green Valley to FG for Powder Bowl. One IB run was OK, but quickly degraded to skidded and icy. One foray into Bear Pits and Outer Ferk’s was OK, the second time, not so much. There was no crowd or lines, so our north facers lasted till afternoon. They’re pretty skied out now, sorry. A mid day graupel dump added an half inch of new that provided a phycological refresh and we bounced around some more. Visibility deteriorated and staying in the trees wore out the lines faster. Ended with a very good day not leaving much for tomorrow. Looks like heat will be our friend coming up.
I agree with ddk’s report, he is That Weird Guy. I remember when we had to drag him kicking and screaming up Chair Six because there was Deep Snow.
