I took myself up to Snoqualmie Pass last night for some night skiing. Unfortunately I had just had my first Covid shot and had a case of the stiff and sores so I skied somewhat subpar. The regular lifts were ski on. Chains were required except all wheel drive, heading down the mountain which made for a slow drive for the first 15 miles or so.  This was my first trip to Snoqualmie in a couple of years. Hit Alpental Friday afternoon/evening.  Great, soft packed powder; snowed an inch or so while I was there, the melt on contact kind near 32 oF but OK.  Meister, Eisfallen in great shape; impressive depth of coverage.  No buried chicken heads or bowling balls, just very occasional icy mogul undersides.  Upstairs food, drink and bathroom areas clean, uncrowded and functional; good for a quick warm-up etc.
