We loaded the lift 30 minutes late today due to frigid temperatures. -1 degree and high overcast. Each member of our posse had various issues with the cold in the morning. Fortunately, an early lunch, some carbs, protein, and a local brew recharged us for the rest of the day. Sun came out early afternoon which also helped even though it was only 5 degrees. We spent all day on the heated Ramcharger chair skiing tree runs where the snow is holding up well, although it's getting thin in places. Due to the late start, we skiied later and ended up with the highest vert of the week thus far.
Forecast is for very cold again tomorrow with some new snow. We can use the refresh for our last day. Looks like things warm up to the low 20's for the President's Day week.
