Today was forecast to be mostly overcast and cold. Instead we got mostly sunny and a balmy 21 degrees at the base of Madison at quitting time. As far as weather, the best day so far. Snow has turned into hard packed powder everywhere except where last nights wind blew in refreshes, particularly on Challenger. Also, many great wood stashes. And, the crowds are back to Big Sky normal. There aren't any.
The really big chill is forecast to roll in tomorrow. Hope it holds off another day.
