Standing 50' outside our cabin on the run in the sun with horizon to horizon blue sky and gleaming white peaks started the day. Ditched the powder skis from yesterday's soft new and switched to the AllMountains. Good choice for a mountain full of packed powder bumps and tree runs. Temps had warmed from the low singles yesterday to 10 rising to upper teens late in the day. Found the good spots and repeated till the sun went behind the ridges. Upper runs have the typical wind-blasted talus showing and it was fun watching the uninformed blast into the rocks. Still hit some good ones even being safe. A lot of people here, for Big Sky, this week, but minimal lines other than intermediate lifts. Gonna ski it hard as later in the week the high temps will be zero or below.
