No lines, poor visibility, and variable snow conditions.  That's it.  More words will follow.

Ski report - And more words about today! Kinda disappointed in the ultra short CD report....but.... Snow great as my legs woke up, Vis in  and out and very nasty when  we finally bailed out  Bad groomer action in spots or lack of anyone including patrol willing to pick up the gravel?  Otherwise the groomers I did were very nice - LS, MIFB (great grooming if I could have seen it), runs on FQex with #1.  Off piste bouncy and fun, best for me was GV Bowl (when I could see it),  bounced around in the Doors early and Memorial later (good vis).   Snow is deep and nice.  Very fun day for us.   No lift lines, light crowd.

Other - Did a CB lodge res with #1, didnt need the res today (as I was informed when I requested the res - NO CHICKEN NOODLE for you....hhhhhmmmm).  #1 happy with her lunch at the prime King view  table - couldn't see it.  Had the Chili - could taste it all the way home. Was nice to get #1  inside to warm up and rest.  Allowed us to get to ski way longer than normal for us - woulda skied longer except for the white out conditions on most of the mountain - lower mountain was nice, should  skied some CHex laps.

Other Other - Drive up a little earlier was very pleasant, drive down was very nice for as late as it was.  Almost nailed a coyote pulling around the curve onto the BLVD?  He/She was moving fast and mentally lucky for both of us I missed.  Pay lot 1/2ish full with the last row getting concrete wheel blocks - bet they had fun at the end of their day.  B maybe 2/3, C pushing 3/4 and the permanent folks  in D (lots of buried cars).   

The snow has really firmed up. Thickened? Settled? Compacted? In a good way leaving a nice packed powder surface - unfortunately rutted and uneven from yesterday’s crowd. No crowd today as it was ski onto the chair all day. Part of my problem, problems? was the visibility was horrible. Even in the trees the surface would go away in places.But…. Perseverance paid off and some fun runs, some good runs, ensued. Never skied any open areas as visibility was only feet. Second hand reports were blind skiing on what felt like smooth snow. Tree skiing took some authority to keep the power down and in control. Northway trees and bumps responded well to the brave. Very quick turns required. Best run of the day was Outer Ferk’s and Luckyshot Trees which sported both visibility and good snow. Or maybe it was just the visibility that made it work.Avalanche worries were on alert today. Big booms on Terminator, Rock Face, and out Northway. Ski Patrol kept Bear Pits and Southback closed due to concerns. Two natural slides in The Pits today.
