Snow report - Deep new cold smoke, good vis almost (some freezing mist on my goggles? Breathing to hard? Even on the early morning lift rides?). Total snow recovery from the last warm wet event. Go pretty much anywhere and the left overs were great cut up piles and the snow was cut up very very fast, and it was very deep to start the day. Great runs for me down mostly still untracked SunnySide, Bearpits and GV - but as typical went very fast. Do to crowds did a few runs for #1 on FQex while looking at the CH6 lineup - always to big and vis fuzzy to suck me in on that side of the mountain. Did a casual ride and run on QSS - no line and mellow slow - snow was still deep off the groomers.
Other - Arrived extra (not extra enough) early to a fair crowd on CHex which got bigger and bigger. Lifts started loading early for a Wednesday (talked to someone who arrived at 8:30? thinking he was early enough - not!). Frenzy was full bore and the early morning lift lines on REX kept growing. Crowds and lines kept growing everywhere I was around - except for a couple late morning laps on CHex doing Deerfly.
Other other - Left earlier than I'd planned. Pay lot amazing full?, B,C,D,E,H all full and cars getting parked in F lot - OUCH! for a Powder day. Drive up was reasonable, drive down was at speed mostly while I watched lots of cars with equipment heading up - OUCH! Hope tomorrow is back to a little more mellow day.
