Snow report - Great day all in all, light crowd, sunshine, 3 to 5 new of smokey nice snow which made my Hamster runs very happy. Limited area of reporting as usual - GV Bowl! prime center line bumps! Ouch! MIFB just skiable nice with the new, LS upper bumps very happy - especially untracked early, groomers okay early (LS and MIFB)...more beat me up challenging runs were SunnySide and M-World (hadn't skied Memorial much yet this season). Heard good things about PB from the Fireman (how many laps today? at least 4 while I was on the mountain). The new cold smoke snow improved a lot of places and should make tomorrow great on the groomers and happy enough of piste. Lots of sun, cold, no real lift line ever on REX, looked like a line of FQex - but not new normal bad. Great day, beat my quads up in the bumps, most vert in a low vert season for me. Quit to save some muscle for #1 tomorrow.
Other - Pay lot nowhere near part full, B and C pushing the edges with cars in D....twas a very light crowd for this season. Drive up was painful due to a couple of folks that should let someone else drive. Drive down early enough to be pleasant - except for the dump truck that yanked out in front of me and thru up a nice rock....plus the mud feast from the pit down just before Enumclaw - what a mess!
Great day! If I had more leg it could have been a record vert day (for a lazy old man). Didn't expect it to be as good as it was!
