The lines were back today.  Hopefully, that was due to the holiday and not a return to a previous mid-week trend.  Beautiful weather and on the cool side even with the full-on sun.  Everything was firm in the morning with some sun softening at noon.  The best off-piste was a firm GV right and the front side from noon - 1:30.  Best groomer was Ferkberg.  Firm but carvable in the morning, then piles of sugar snow, and finally sun softening.  Worst run?  A tie between Kelly's Gap and Powder Bowl.  Sluiceway in Kelly's Gap was fine, but Berry Patch has been destroyed by all the avalanche debris off Rock Face.  And Lower E was horrible.  It might have softened in the afternoon, but I wasn't going back there.  Powder Bowl was a little trecherous.  Snow alternated between deep patches covered with a breakable crust, unedgeable ice, and avie debris.  I was really happy to get outta there.

The chairs were on deisel again.  What gives with our power company?  The good news is, they had REX fired up to full speed with that poor old diesel screaming.

On the way out at 2pm, A lot was full (night skiers coming up), and B - H lots completely full.  No one in F lot.  Drive up was slow.  Drive down was painfully slow.

A good amount of vert today making use of the singles line from 9:30 on.
