Crystal - 01/07

Arrived at a more "normal" time since it was #1's first day in a while. Most of the regular hard cores where in attendance, but the crowd was way more mellow today - praise the lord for no new snow.  Big sunny early, lifts started loading a little before the typical weekday start. Got some nice runs in GV early before the typical rush, nice left overs and good groomers. But by the time we skied down LS the crowd had arrived at REX.  So headed over to FQex which was still mostly mellow and noticed a nice empty CH 6 - would have been nice to due laps today.  Didnt ski very long today and a fair number of folks were still showing up when we left.

Other - Pay lot was 90% full of badly parked cars, B,C,D,E all  full with H pushing full.  Didnt check the soup report.  Weather was starting to grey up late morning.  Nice to get almost old normal lift lines mostly due to everything and everywherre being open.   Hopefully the trend will continue....but the email I got from Crystal still offering discounted weekday passes will not help that.  Only two months till  most folks start migrating to summer activites.
