Nuking snow all day and the longest lft lines I've seen this year.  Actually, the longest lift lines I've seen since retiring 8 years ago.  Some of it was caused by the wind hold on REX and the gondie until 10am, but after everything opened and evened out across the mountain, consistent 15 - 20 minute lines on Chinook, REX, GV, and FQ.  C6 never opened and I have no idea what was going on out Northway.  The last time I saw people having to hike up the mountain to get in line for REX was when it was chair 2, a slow speed double.

The snow was improving fast, but the biggest dumpage was before the resort opened.  The snow from 9am on was heavy and packing, not adding much to the totals, but definitely helping with yesterday's ice.  Good skiing everywhere when not standing in line.  After 4 hours, the lines drove us out with 2 hours worth of vert.

On the way down the blvd, just below F-lot, there is a spur road on the right.  There were several families in there with pop-up tarps, portable gas fire pits, and barb-b-ques all smoking while everyone there appeared to be having a great time day camping in the snow.  So, that was fun.

Really miserable lines tho they moved well. I left early mostly because the skiing was rough with wind slab, cut up ruts over ice and unseen hazards. The wait time in the howling wind was not worth justified by the conditions. Really look forward to the end of holiday week and wish everyone would go back to their 'real' lives in 2021.
