Stevens Sunday Night

Thank goodness for night skiing. No crowd, empty runs, and good visibility. The Stevens Pass fog bank was present but it was mostly above the lifts except for the top of Skyline.   The only lift line was on Hogs. It was intermittent and short like 10 people or so.  The groomers were pretty icy in spots but the ice was easily avoidable. Off piste was pretty darn good. I was able to spend about 60% of my time off piste. It was nice packed powder in spots.  Blue trail on Hogs was closed.. It looks like they are putting the terrain park back up there, darn it.  Considering how challenging the skiing has been this season, this night skiing trip was a real pleasant surprise.  

Did you need a reservation for night skiing? Haven't seen any info on their website.
