Another day, another icy day, though a lot better than yesterday. Better vis and some sun, better grooming on
LS and the Valley, similar nice light crowd - no lift lines, lots of solo rides once the BINX crowd dumped
me (or was it me dumping them?). Lots of REX to GV loops...Valley was boiler plate firm with a dusting of
new - smooth as a babies? But just good enough for repeats. LS was big better today, but still pretty ice skating
quality. Still didnt do a very long day once the grey looked like it was blowing in and the Hamster mode was
getting kinda lazy. Still got my "old" minimum vert to count as a day - not many of those for me this
season...so sad. Heard the hard hard cores talking about 50k+ vert days - ouch, but it helps if you live
in the Ranch area.
Other - Checked the soup at CB lodge... same oh same oh...Chow and Vegan Veggy...lots of Pizza options
with a Glut free version (might have to pre order the Glut free version)
Other Other - Parking in the A lot was average mostly empty, B and C widly spaced hard to say how full.
Drive up just early enough to be mostly pleasant...got stuck in a stupid small cluster on the
way to early drive down...few Elk for the morning drive.
Pleasant day all in all with some winds up high, good vis, nice quality icy groomers (including the last
run down Queens to Snowgarden to CHair 4 slopes). EXP's worked great but will get a edge tune this weekend
and maybe even some wax?
