Crystal Mountain is excited to announce that we will kick-off the 2020-2021 ski and snowboard season this
Wednesday, November 18. Lifts start turning at 9AM. Wednesday’s lift
offering will include the Mount Rainier Gondola, Rainier Express,
Chinook Express, Forest Queen Express, Quicksilver, and Discovery. Chair
6, Northway, and Gold Hills won’t be too far behind as Patrol is
already working to get these ready for you to enjoy. Also, in accordance
with the State’s November 15 crowding restrictions, lodges will not be
accessible for indoor food service, but we will have plenty of to-go
options available for you to take to your favorite spot on the mountain,
outdoor picnic table, or in your car.

In order to fully comply with the Governor’s most current reopening
requirements as of November 15, 2020, which require reduced
chair-loading capacities and use of a reservation system in order to
limit crowd size, we will be requiring reservations for ALL guests for
the foreseeable future. We have committed to priority access for our
pass holders. Daily lift tickets will not be available until further
notice.

Based on what was shared with the CM Founders Club a few weeks ago, skiers from different households need to be separated by two empty seats on the lifts.

So for different chair sizes, here's how many unrelated skiers can go:
Double chair: one single rider
Triple chair: one single rider
Quad chair: two single riders separated by two spaces
Hex chair: Two related riders at left end, two spaces, and two related riders at right end
Gondola: All riders must be from same household

I'm guessing this is a state requirement and may apply at all Washington ski areas. All skiers must be masked in lines and on lifts.

How did this post end up under Weak Layers? I'm pretty sure I posted it under Lift-Accessed Reports. Can it be moved?

I will note that on the Categories page, the description of Lift-Accessed Reports says "decision making in avalanche terrain."

Moved to "Lift Accessed Ski Reports" and description of said category removed (I suspect it was a copy/paste error - thanks for highlighting it, Lowell).

My brother did some followup, and it's not clear whether daily tickets will be available or not. He's hearing that they will. So things are still a bit confusing.
