Crystal Friday 6/5 only 2 days left

Parking lot at 8:45.  Parked in the second row of the pay lot.  You get that ddk?  Vis was pretty good, the high overcast stuff.  It did get a little thicker at times.  No lift Line for the first hour then needed to scope the line and choose. The line was about 10 min after about 11:00.

Rock situation: the top of GV had two snow slots up a short walk with a big milted out area directly left. there were a few scattered bare spots here and there in the main run.  The traverse to Grubstake is either take off your skis or ski down around the bare area and side step back up.  the top of Grubstake is really rocky.  Elk Snort had a very rocky ski patrol made path out skiers right.  once through that it wasn't bad down the bowl.  The lower gully is narrow with BIG snowboard ruts.  

Snow was nice in the am but got slow about 11:00. the traverse out to West Face became a walk up.
