A 3.5 out of 5 day.

Weather on top was on the cold side with a good temperature difference between top and bottom. Clear skies and calm wind for a 2 out of 2 for weather, although a little chilly at times.

Snow is a little harder to rate as conditions were so variable. Can't believe ddk skied Sunnyside yesteday based on today's conditions. Entire frontside was unskiable including gulley-gulley later in the day after it softened. One and done. Also one and done was Powderbowl and Outer Ferks right next to the trees. We knew better than to go into Bearpits. What was good? Everything in GV, Kelly's Gap to the base suffering through lower E, and Ferkberg from noon on when it finally softened from the sun. Best snow on the mountain was Snorting Elk right side and GV chair line. Being generous, I'll call it a 1.5 out of 3 for snow quality.

All chairs running normal speed except GV. Still at 70%. Same thing as last year all of March and April. What gives? Of course, the operators had no idea.
