New snow, more early folks, nice icy MIFB early - if you like ice (actually better later),
deep snow in places - shoulda done BP's earlier, but
the left overs were still nice, shoulda done PB when it opened but still got some nice deep
left overs close to noon. Vis mostly good most of the time, snow falling, winds blowing, chairs
all running nice and fast, #1 had a great day finally after to long a time off, I was nice
and skied a number of FQex runs with her - very pleasant with deep snow on the sides of the
trails. Still a lot of icy lumps on the typical wind blowing areas and really nice wind dump
in the typical protected areas. Had another fun day and finally the first two days in a row!
Heard The King hike yesterday was pleasant if you had crampons - ouch! Didnt hear how good
the skiing was. Lots of blasting out south as we were leaving and it was snowing hard -
though starting to get a little damper on the goggles. No lift lines all day, but did have
to ride with a few folks more than once. Did see lots of slides on the steeper slopes - even
the center steep pitch under REX! Be careful the sheet of ice under the new is slick.
Other - Socialized with #1 and others in CB lodge longer than preferred. Soup of the day was
the Southwest Left over Pulled Pork thing - actually very good with enough pulled pork to
make a real sandwich. Got a taste of the Chick Pea soup - seemed edibly okay?
Other - Got lucky after a nice drive and parked in the A lot! Thankyou! When we left the pay
lot had a lot of cars, not full, but? rest of the A lot (carpool area) was not full, B and
C fullish to the shuttle stops, and 6 buses.

...and the rest of story...today we enjoyed a sneaky 8" of freshie that created some windblown and variable snow in GV and Snort, but nice snow in lower BP...patrol was busy making noise all morning out South..we heard good things from Paradise and Bruce's Bowl at lunch, but South opened about 1 pm and we gotta out da' gates pretty darn quick to find that that 8" was waiting in our stashes and we were pretty darn happy!!! avoid the lakes and plenty of gravity to catch you on the exit...
we arrived this morning and expected warmth, rain and concrete -- instead we warmth, very nice snow in the trees and non-exposed creekbeds followed by rain at 3:30pm as we caught the last ride up C6...
...so much better than expected with top-to-bottom powder skiing once again (but probably the only day this week)...no lift lines with plenty of parking...and the boilers are all working so the radiant heat brick sidewalks and stairs are ice and snow free (yeah Ops)
