Not a full on powder day, but traversed Vail Pass in a Blizzard and found 3-4" fluff over groomed waiting at the top for the early birds...I skied soft snow until lunch but no hard/steep slopes were open. No Back Bowls, or Blue Sky...Soon...But I'll be gone. Apres At Bail and then a terrible drive back over Vail Pass to watch the end of a horrible football game! Tomorrow morning at Keystone. If it snows tonight a few more,
The trees will be on agenda.
Vail is a great mountain to ski. Lots of long runs, great, but expensive services.
