Another day, a different day, colder, windier - east big, no lift impacts, no lift lines - season is now over for folks, snow quality from wind blasted, to wind loaded, to wind filled in between the bumps, to nice carve able fun, vis good all day, snowing a lot of the day which was noticeable in areas that I hamstered more than once, as typical limited area of reporting by me from PB/BP to the Doors and SunnySide/Memorial to only one (again?) EH run - just as the gate opened and it was nice, but not as nice as yesterday, still untracked between the bumps (fun bumps) and I5 was I5 - slower early today. Snow quality was variable from wind scoured to wind loaded and everything in between - skiable, but more of a workout for the old tired body. Quit kinda early with wimpy vert. Winds seemed to be slowing down when I left and the vis was very pleasant.
Other - The never ending Veggie Minestrone again today, pizza didn't look that good (small slices) - so it was the rest of my breakfast burrito. No pizza might be why I was sluggish early afternoon (maybe?). Pay lot was nice and small and non employees filled the rest of the A lot and that was it. Drive up and down kinda like late March weekday...season is really almost over - only a couple of months left, so sad. Snow pack is big and dense and the season will not end in bounds for lack of snow...its those dang golfers! and bike riders and hikers and yard gardeners...double dang!
PS - Heard the ski to 410 is really big right now!
