Conditions? New smoke snow at least boot top and deeper in places and pretty perfect left overs in my fav bumps - soft bumps go anywhere bumps, piles of left overs with new, skied out areas were perfect carve-able, couple early groomers very nice with the new layer, nice vis mostly with lots of sun breaks and a few fuzzy spots (perfect time for the Doors!). As usual only skied from PB/BP/OF, the Doors ( 1 and 2), SunnySide, Memorial, EH (got first fun tracks hard right side - building those bumps...so sorry! Not) and finished my shorter than expected day with another very nice Exterminator run. Snow quality pretty prime everywhere.
Other - Arrived early, smallish crowd to start on CHex and it was a weird light crowd all day, other than when I passed through FQex there really were no lines (except for the Bucket - long lineup, CHex? ski up and on. Thought there would be lift lines and I'd have stand around time, so I had planned skiing late and suffering the traffic down, but since I never really stood in a lift line I beat myself pretty much in the treadmill, kinda early. Soup at CB lodge was Veggy Minst again, the pizza seems to be my ticket to great afternoon hamster times. Lodges packed when I passed through them. Pay lot massive and not full, B to E all full? Where do all those folks go? Drive up and down was mostly pleasant with only a couple Sunday drivers out.
