Pretty big day, pretty stormy, pretty non stop snowing on top, pretty dang windy again which made it feel a lot colder than the actual telemetry temps, pretty light crowd - like no one around, pretty empty lifts, pretty empty runs, never had to ride a lift with anyone except for Binx early morning...dang hate that! Pretty nice few inches dusting of new after the groomers did there thing last night - so MIFB was pretty prime early and actually pretty prime and empty all day. After a pretty casual morning doing mostly GV Bowl and MIFB, started expanding the hamster treadmill into PB/BP/OF (OF - Outer Ferks...hadn't done it much before today this season - it was pretty prime). Howling winds on top, which for some reason didn't impact REX operations today (at least its speed), but the Bucket was on hold a lot today. Started really snowing early morning and pretty much all day up top - nice quality early and nice icy pellets mid day - it was dang wetish when I skied to the base, definitely adding a little new all day. Coverage most places great, but the top of The Queen is still pretty rocky. Another limited report from me since I had a hard time getting out of the hamster treadmill again today, but everything was open and I didn't see a lot of the early morning hard cores most of the day - so they must have been having fun somewhere? Fun day - duh! Felt cold all day. Ready for the rumored possible powder frenzy tomorrow.
Other - Soup at CB lodge might have been Tomato Bisque and the rumor is Triple C soon, had a piece of marginal card board pizza (guy making it likes supper thin burnt on the edges crust?). Lodges empty, pay lot obnoxiously big(?) and equally empty, 5 or so buses, cars in C lot - but not a lot. Drive up and down was pretty much at speed.
Other other - Bumped into Lyle today on LS and agreed to buy his pair of BMW's, don't really need them anymore since the EXP's are pretty awesome for me (and they where pretty prime today), but having another pair of not destroyed BMW's will help fill up my garage - ha ha!
