Despite having the deepest snow base in North America, conditions never really quite softened up to those typical warm spring days of skiing slushy snow. If I'm going to test out a new set of skis, it's best to do so on less than ideal conditions. The best skiing was to be found in Gunner's Bowl unless you ventured outside of the ski area.
