Well not quite!
Wife went to the mountain top Easter service with her friend and when she got back with a report that it was snowing , I geared up and went up.
1" on crust but it skied OK and I even went out North which skied surprisingly well. Very lonely out there. Next tried a Right Angle and even that was OK as long as you like skiing frozen crusty bumps covered in 1" of new. Tried some groomers but I got bored with that so concentrated on trying to ski the off-piste coral as gracefully as possible. Good training.
Gave the new Dirtbag King Rick a congratulatory hug.
Nice day but i regreted not bringing my pack as the side-country stash looked ok and smooth snow would have skied well.
