AKA "Summit Central"
with limited time, we hoped the 10+" showing on yesterday's telemetry would not be overly influenced by the coming of spring. We missed opening bell by a bit but still found nice 6-12" powder shots and buttery groomers with 1-3" of newly fallen snow atop. The sun came out for a bit at the tail end of a squall-filled morning, which did its March type work on any well exposed snow. We nonetheless kept finding nice soft and sometimes even only somewhat tracked shots in shadier regions on moderate (blue) runs right up until we had to call it for time at 2:30.
Definitely exceeded expectations.
Big. Yeehaw. Big big. Parking? Don't make me laugh. Didn't check the soup - sandwiches on the lift was a must on an abbreviated day with nice snow about.
