Short Report - Not much new from me...Sunny, almost warm, ultra light Friday crowd, great early couple primo groomers on LS and MIFB...then pretty much BP's and Outer Ferks and PB/BP and PB/OF and...and...and a few runs down GV Bowl skier right pretty nice to The Plunge which had been groomed for the first time in a very long time. The train of folks heading south was big mid morning . Finished the day with a nice casual run out through Kellys Gap - not as nice as yesterday, sun impacted south slopes yesterday and way impacted them today, south facing slopes will not be pleasant first thing tomorrow (if at all). Lower skiers right nice big skiable soft bumps in the shade - better than expected. All in all a great day. PB/BP/OF definitely the quality Hamster runs of the day. Quit pretty early today... Pretty much wore my self out this week...ready to sleep in tomorrow.

Wordy Report - See Short Report...nice drive up this morning except for around Ranger Creek where the road had 6+ and it was nuking snow storm - glad I was ahead of the "safe" drivers.
Drive down was ? where did all that snow on the road go?

Other - Lucky day with Chicken Noodle at CB lodge. Pay lot big and if folks knew how to park it might have been half full. Lots of cars in B and C was surprisingly full.

Another 3 out of 3 day. Much lighter crowd than yesterday, packed powder instead of yesterday's powder, and mostly bluebird skies occasionally blotted out by snow showers. As stated above, PB to BP was the run of the day. However, unlike the above report, some very nice turns out Kelly's Gap if you knew where to go. And yes, lower E was big soft bumps on the shady side cut just right to rip the fall line.

Glad they had chicken noodle soup, although I didn't go in today. Yesterday, they had the Triple C again and I was thinking, someone has to say something!

Tough snow in yesterday's sunny areas, and even some places that didn't get much sun. Foggy and snowing for the first half hour - left turns in the snow shaded by the trees were great, right turns 10 feet away that got sun were stiffened lumps. At 9:45, the sky cleared, the sun was on Powder Bowl, and they opened Six early. A Powder Bowl - Bear Pits lap-a-thon ensued with 4" of new over cut powder, and in Bear Pits, perfect packed pow. In the blur of laps, never saw another person in Powder Bowl, and only a worn out snowboarder and 2 skiers trying to keep up in Bear Pits. Did see The Soup Master exiting the lodge just as the clouds moved back over Campbell and made it our last round trip. As visibility decreased and other areas firmed up, it was time to leave - very satisfied.
