We rolled into A lot at 8:30 am to find 24 F at the base and 38 F at the top. A true inversion plus a bluebird sky got us motivated in a hurry! The warmup was Middle Ferk's, which was silky smooth with only a few rocks at the bottom right side. Lucky Shot was devoid of grooming, but it didn't matter as temps were heating up all morning. C6 opened for 2 hours after lunch and we quickly logged 8 hamster laps.  The best exit atop C6 continues to be around the shack (a few rocks as usual but easily avoided) and back under the chair to then decide: east (left) or west (right). It really didn't matter because it was all served up exactly how I like it.

- mashed
- with butter
- no chunks

You gotta love spring skiing in February, especially with an empty hill. I caught the last Forest Queen chair at 3:59 pm and pretty much skied down to the bottom without seeing anyone else. That seemed like a good time to work on some switch drills as temps hovered around 40-45 F all afternoon.

The views were excellent. Hood stood out as if beckoning all spring skiers to her hills (look between the signs). A very relaxing day in the sun at the local hill.
