February 12, 2018 Heavenly

Today was a short morning, but a nice storm with some winds, 1" powder, and temperatures in the teens made for some nice turns. We mainly skied on the Nevada side while most other folks were heading for the CA side. We skied off the Stagecoach, Olympic, and North Bowl lifts. It was nice riding along the edges in the untracked. We also did a couple of rides off Dipper and Comet express lifts. Now it's time to head north for PNW powder.

Have you tried Sugar Bowl? It & Mammoth were our favorites last year.

I was so powder starved after 10 days in a row of bluebird, that I thought it was 2" on the dipper chair. By 4:00 it was enough up high that I even skied the upper Milky Way Bumps and they weren't terrible! Very nice day for us. We skied into California but came back as there was less new snow.
