Short Report(?) - Great vis all day with very nice filtered warm sun mid day into the afternoon. A lot firmer snow early - back to don't go off piste...LS and MIFB skied nice enough early with the vis, but better and better all day...Did a few runs over FQex with #1 late morning - very nice soft conditions. Chased BINX after lunch in a bunch of fun screamer fast runs - thanks!....was not ever as soft as yesterday, but the vis and views of Rainier was great, kinda like Tuesday.
More Words Report - Arrived early to a quiet empty ski area...CHex lineup was gone after 3 chairs and the Bucket looked even emptier early. LS and MIFB both pretty firm to start, but at least you could see what the grooming was like - and the grooming was mostly good. No crowds, no lift lines, lots of happy folks...Lots of dirt showing in places, but no worse than it was on Tuesday. Pretty fun nice day....even skied almost to 2pm - WOW!
Other - Split a rice bowl with #1 (well I got a third of it...plus a very nice pizza appietizer). Pretty quiet in the lodges. Pay lot was to big as usual and typically not full, 9 and a half buses (lots of old folks like me). Drive up and down was fast and pleasant. Be heading north soon, so great conditions should soon be arriving at Crystal for everyone...Have a great week all skiing and riding the white wave.
