Long Wordy report - Arrived early after to many following to many bad drivers. Casual mellow time before jumping on Chex for the early
6 or so chairs rush....but the crowd did manage to show up during the 10 hour as usual - most noticeably at FQex when I had to suffer
passing through there.  Todays ski report - first run down LS screamer groomer....rest of the day PB/BP's or GV Bowl to the Plunge (skier right shoulder of MIFB)....how many times, totally clueless, but it was a Hamster RockCoomba Treadmill blur.....Totally happy fun. Thats it, don't
know anything about any other run (other than Stumpfarm on my way out).
Other - Soup at CB lodge was White Bean Sausage thingy - I think....Pizza and a beer is the thing now...till they finally do Chicken Noodle.
Mellow crowd early, but when I passed through the base lodge it was a mass of humans everywhere. Soup at the base was ???? dang, but
the line ups to pay for food at the base were massive....was wondering whats wrong with the Shish-ka-bob place...closed still? Anyway.
Pay lot was massive and not full, rest of the lots down to E were packed...
Fun day, seemed less busy where I was, but the crowd seemed big in lots of the wrong places....

Longest line was a couple minutes on GV as well as FQ, but none on REX, C6, or NW. A really good day until we got to the base. What a huge mass of humanity on Discovery and Quicksilver, as well as in the base lodge. Glad those hordes weren't where we skied.
Drive up was mostly at the limit early. Drive down was very slow on the thawed and wet roads. Overall, a great day!

The above reports pretty much cover it. Especially as a complete remodel will be coming tonight and tomorrow.
The sun did a great disservice yesterday. Don't get cocky and try The Frontside - oddly crusty glop and surprisingly scrappy.
Valley Bowl and Iceberg pleased early but turned into firm, oddly shaped pyramids and small rock/icy piles respectively.
Most of the Valley, north facing, held up.
Northway was the place with better than normal coverage and soft snow/bumps/steeps that provided the first real aggressive skiing of the year.
I was wondering why there were no lines with what looked like a huge crowd. Some were in FQ's line, some skiing the groomers, but most were in the Campbell Basin lodge eating pizza and drinking beer. Or girls waiting 10+ minutes for to get into the bathroom.
We just did a fly-by the CB Lodge on the way to Powder Bowl. The top is a mess and there's a lot of vert wasted getting through the rocks and icy chutes to the good lower half.
Bear Pits was skiable, but pretty sketchy mid-run in a small tree, ice, Punji stick, into setup pow kinda way.
Glad we got out North for the goods. Looks like all hell (rain) could break loose tonight/tomorrow.

ps Don't know if Ddk knows where The Plunge is since you can't ski it after doing Valley Bowl
