WOW, I am kinda of glad I stayed home, I think.... "If it's white ski it, if it's green Golf it." a wise man once told me. No such thing as bad snow, only bad skiers. I'm waiting till it fills in a bit, If SB felt it in the legs, that's saying something, he has tree trunks thighs. Think Snow and Bring it Ulllr

I guess I have low standards, but I had a fine day skiing with my wife on our anniversary. There was some of the deepest snow I've ever bounced through on FQ. Morning Gondy and ChEx lines blended together, but we were on within 10 minutes. Everyone galloped to the top while we leisurely sliced up the empty runs. It had rained Tuesday up to Campbell Basin I heard, but after noon came heavy snowfall that buried any crust and made it a point-'em -down day. I had my light fatties but never felt thrown around, even in the PM. I did have to scrape my goggles twice but then they worked fine. The down part of my day came when I rode the gondola, headed down upper Ferks and found Middle Ferks and Exterminator closed, so I ended up in GV for a 25-minute wait. People were booting up the ridge to Lower Ext. and finding it roped off. Wish there was a way to know what was closed before getting trapped; trying to see the goods from the bucket was like looking into the dishwasher with glasses on :
But the fatness! Bottomless on Little P (had to boot out, totally worth it), the face below the top of FQ (upper Chapelle's? I'm bad with run names) into the park, margins of Magoo's, and Little Magoo's even after 1:30.
My wife recommends the tomato bisque, but I settled for gnawing on a cold Egg McMuffin so I could do more laps. The lots were still packed when we exited at 2 to beat the Traffic Trauma of Tacoma.
