Crystal - 12/13

Another beautiful day in the mountains. Conditions were very similar to the last two days. They didn't groom Lucky Shot today in favor of grooming the jib park. The jib park has not been open with new features the last two days contrary to what Crystal Mountain had posted on their web site. There was some grousing from a few snowboarders yesterday. Well, they got it open today. Not really a jibber myself, so didn't care except for the lack of LS grooming. Turned out OK due to the lack of participants and sun warming in the morning making it enjoyable. Coverage held up well until later in the day on the second face. GV never softened.

Having taken care of my ski Jones by ripping groomers for three days, I'm going to wait until there is enough snow to be able to ski off piste more. Might be after the winter solstice as the light showers that are coming this week-end through mid next week won't have enough snow to really make a difference.

Lordy 3 days in a row on crappy groomers! Impressed! Congrats!

Agree...bad assuming....btw....they are not Frenchy's! There all Aussies or Brit's or those Kiwi folks(totally wacked).....based on my lift rides today.... Crappy groomers is based on other opinions....#1 loves crappy groomers.....they are groomers...
