The chalk snow was still fun to ski on today,
hope it supports the new UllR's dropping us.

I met Arrow today, she's adorable and so smart
Missed the morning, had a private
But hit E gate at 12:15, knoll 4 was still untracked and very nice
Best part, watching a gal try to sideslip the traverse cliff.......it didn't work

Saturday Lots of new snow, Missed the cut to Shot 6 and skied down the ridge. Knee deep pow to the cat track (best run of the day). Had great expectations for Shot 6 but it had slid but 5 new made for a nice ride. International was very good but skied 1 a lot due to the large crowds and soft snow still found while other were searching. Hit Rope 3 after they opened the gate, then Rock face which was exceptional top to bottom.

Sunday: Even more new snow. Boot deep un touched pow on Shot 6. International skied as well as it has all year. Elevator was great, hit The Meadows. Virgin lines top to bottom, very deep in places with fantastic quality that only arrives a few times a year. Ventured high and the drop into the traverse to get to Heavenly Trees was gnarly so we did not want to test our aging legs (was glad we did not from the reports in the parking lot). Opted for past Gun Barrel that delivered the goods on every run with above knee pow. If the high gate would have opened it would have been the best day of the year. We consumed a number of fine barrel aged ales in the parking lot and reminisced about the great day. Traffic was backed up about a mile on the Alpy road and took awhile to get to 90. Way worst on Fall City Road to Redmond almost 3 hrs to get home.
