Short report - Yee Haa...all is HAPPY!
Lots of Words report - ....And the very late report (for me)....Primo Perfect Nasty Rocky Slushy Warm Hawaii Shirt (almost) Perfect...dang fine day for a Lazy Hamster!....Arrived early (just in case...it was a Friday which is the "new" Saturday...), front row behind a small pay lot.....and then just pretty much hung out talking to lonely employees and random wacky early arrivals? Like me? Big warm, arrived expecting warm and prepared for warm and after the first GV Bowl run I started stripping down to the real SPRING clothes (never got rid of the coat....lots of funny cool rivers of cold blowing down big HOT random fun zones. No crowds (but bigger than all week - it was a Friday ...the new Saturday)...no lift lines, other than the bucket would not have ridden a lift with anybody, but got lucky and The Ferk allowed me to chase around behind him today - very very much fun! Fun day, more rocks in places, bump hamster heaven was in full on again (when Mr Ferk let me...ha ha). Skied a lot of fast screamer groomers - Rolling Knolls (ouch fun roll over hard skier right side - never dowe that line befor today), fav lines for #1 and blowing to the base via Slow Sliver slopes....AaaaHaaa! nice...FYI - no marketing in my report...there are rocks and lots of places are worse than yesterday, but!!!! If you pay attention and like skiing at all(?) it is still a better day and better conditions than some of the worst years! Anyway....
Other - No soup at CB lodge, but I had a very nice pizza slice...Pay lot was smallish and emptish as normal...Rest of A full with over flow into C lot (no shuttles) with some cars parked in B (I remember way back when walking up from the B lot....)
Other other - All in all a great day of skiing packed crap that no "real" skiers would bother skiing having fun in the BIG sunny perfect (April) day.....bouncing around dodging rocks and beating up my really really HAPPY ROCK COOMBAS - YEE HAA!
RB 2 where is the report? Might be at Whistler next week!
