Yesterday was a good mid season mid Mountain day. Good vis and great snow. Today was a top ten powder morning - the type I have never before seen this early. The afternoon was spent relaxing and then hiking/traversing to fine powder, several feet deep. The backcountry is deadly deep. My side Country adventures were extremely careful. One to two foot slabs will come down on most every steep. Warming trend tomorrow will make it worse.
Tomorrow could be one of the best powder days of the year if the warming doesn't mess the snow up.
