It seems like I got the better of it by going to Stevens, Moderate crowd, the same east winds that were chilly early, but they subsided. Pretty nice sun that became more filtered as the day went on. The back side, off piste, skied well, although Corona Bowl and lowest Pegasus had very deep moguls. The run of the day was Orion, bumps just the right size. Never went to Seventh as reports said it didn't soften. Other north faces - same story. The non shady front side runs softened nicely. As usual, Hogs had the only line and it wasn't bad, sometimes not even there. A very good day to end it at Stevens. They will be open next weekend but I'm heading to CM.
