April 14, 2017 Stevens Pass

It was snowing lightly, then a bit of sun, then clouds ,then,... The area has been closed Monday-Thursday. The conditions were OK early and was better  as the day got warmer. I started skiing at 9:30am and I should have waited a little longer. More ski tracks, warming and sunshine “fixed it”.  There was about 3” fresh snow from the past day that skied OK along the edges and the untracked slopes.

The ski areas should have lots of coverage for May slack-tours
