Well, was it worth going? I tried off piste and it was just like it was after the last pineapple Express. Basically unskiable, unless you like bouncing off frozen rats and chicken heads. However, the groomers we're pretty fun. The 2 inches of new they got last night helped a lot, and when that was skied up the residual rills and piles skied well. Seventh and Southern Cross were closed, everything else open. No lines anywhere. Mostly midweek pass holders, and old fogeys like me. On again off again sucker holes in the a.m. Pretty much sunny in the p.m.. Most of the old fogeys drove pretty fast down the mountain. I probably drive as fast as CD, but I got passed by a car and two motorcycles.
