Headed to Jackson Hole this past weekend, first trip back since 1990. We got some great footage from Corbet's.

My joke is that Graham skied Corbet's at 20, I skied it at 23 and his mother crashed down it at 21. LOL. No way I could ski it this time with my injury, I would have never made the first big right turn on my left leg at 40 MPH.

But speaking of straight runs, also watch the 80 mph+ straight run G does down this one empty slope that we had seen some locals doing same earlier in the day.

Enjoy the vid:

Well - that looks do-able. If you lowered me on a rope the first 75 ft!!!

Thanks!!! ;)

TONS of snow in both the Teton Valley where we stayed and Jackson Hole proper. That launch in to Corbet's was bigger than when I skied it in 1990. I would have loved to done it but just no way.

We stayed conservative too, not venturing out of bounds. With my compromised state we couldn't go where we didn't know (their saying every time the tram ride ends). But Friday was the true POW day and we saw evidence of that all over the place, especially Teton Pass. Man the skiing looked like a blast there with an easy skin up a power line to gain access to 2,000+ foot runs. We were jealous.

But what a great mountain, a lot like Alpy with nothing but fall line runs. Fast. Beautiful views. Sucks that it is in the middle of nowhere. Favorite quote from a local we smoked with up the ganjala to the question "what's it like living here", response "poverty.......with a view". LOL.
