With another -22C, 14M/S wind day forecast for Asahi-dake, YoYo and I headed for Furano and skied 4 hours on a 3 hour ($35) ticket (the lifty didn't bother checking on the top lift). Temp was also around -20, but winds were light and visibility was good. Funaro supposedly has strick rules about ducking ropes, but we never got hassled. They also have some gates to hike to terrain, which even late in the afternoon still had some lines. Hot wine and udon served at the top station restaurant was warming and made for some relaxed runs.
