Sunny, still cold, inversion did warm up the top half of Southern Cross for a while mid day, Groomers were in good shape, but got a bit firm as the day progressed [ pile skiing kicked in]. The backside was the place to be. It was ok from the Southern Cross chair line to Corona Bowl. Crunchy cookies made it a bit more work. The chutes in Corona bowl were icy and bumped, Pegasus was groomed, Orion was not and had fun, small, bumps. It got my run of the day award. Wall to wall grooming everywhere, even a bunch of my favorite edges, dang it. No lines Some sneaky ice patches on the highway.
