Worried about wind and cold temperatures, I brought a down jacket and 40 year old Eddie Bauer down pants for skiing this evening. Instead we found light wind and surprisingly "warm" conditions. The road thermometer on I90 below the pass read 23 degrees at 6PM, but telemetry said 8 degrees with 25mph winds between a 7-10pm, it sure did not feel like that, and the skiing was superb, run after run of untracked groomers, great foot massage! Perhaps the best Wednesday night ski experience I've ever had there.
