Crystal-January 4, 2017 was created by telemack
Today was our first trip up with an 8-week ski bus ridden mostly by retirees like ourselves---but older. Several folks in their 80's are still running laps
Groomers and extra layers were the way to go. The place was almost empty and all upper mountain lifts were closed. As wind-transport and a few skiers moved things around, we found filled-in troughs on the sides of FQ runs.
Soup: Potato in the Bullwheel was praised.
Parking: dead empty, and almost no RVs. Buses drop off right at the head of A Lot, and it sure beats driving our own rig.

The bus gives you a chance to take a "rest" before the skiing and after you ski. Are you on the Crystal and Steven bus group?

Crystal! We switched from being Stevens regulars to riding a bus to Xtal that friends organize. I have more TAY pals with Crystal passes, the drive is shorter, and I like the sidecountry and big sweeping bowls.....
